## How the subscription runs

We integrate into your team from day one: context first, output second.

1. **Onboarding & Context** — We get full context before we produce anything. Product vision, roadmap, technical constraints, team dynamics, past design decisions. We learn the product the way a new hire would.
2. **First-Week Review** — In the first week the designer reviews the product, the Figma and the backlog with our 6-Layer UX Audit and writes down the three things that should change first. No big report; a short list you can act on in sprint one.
3. **Sprint Integration** — We integrate into your sprint cycle. Standup, sprint planning, design reviews: the designer runs the same cadence as your product and engineering team. Tickets are assigned to us the same way they'd be assigned to an in-house designer.
4. **Ongoing Delivery** — We ship design every week. Features, flows, components, edge cases, QA with engineering: the full design function, executed at the pace your team moves.
5. **Design Reviews** — Regular design reviews keep quality high and direction aligned. We run async Loom reviews for quick feedback, and sync sessions for strategic decisions. You're always in the loop without being in every detail.
6. **Continuity** — The same designer stays on the account, so the reasons behind past decisions stay in the room. They keep the design system current and onboard the next person who joins your team.

## FAQ

**How is the subscription different from a regular agency?**

An agency delivers projects you brief and wait for. The subscription puts one senior designer inside your team: your Slack, your standups, your PM tool, your Figma. Work ships every sprint and the designer knows your product, your users and your engineers the way an employee would.

**How many designers do we get?**

One senior product designer by default, part-time or full-time. You can add a second designer when the roadmap needs it, or add a Fractional Head of Design when what you need is direction rather than more hands.

**Subscription or Team Extension? How do I choose?**

One named designer, working your backlog inside your sprints, on a monthly fee. Team Extension gives you a designer plus a project manager and a design lead, billed for the hours you use, which suits product teams running several streams at once. Pick the subscription when the work is steady and belongs to one product. Pick Team Extension when the volume moves month to month. **What is the minimum commitment, and can we pause?**

Two months minimum, then month to month. You can pause and resume with notice, and the work and the files stay yours through a pause.

**How much does it cost?**

A monthly retainer quoted after the intro call, depending on whether you need part-time or full-time allocation. If you want to see the designer work first, a Trial Week is credited toward the first month.

**How quickly can you start?**

Usually within two weeks of the intro call. If a Trial Week comes first, the subscription can start the Monday after it.

**Do you work on both UX and UI?**

Yes. The designer owns the flow and the interface, from problem framing through to production-ready components in your design system. For AI features that includes the trust and failure states around the model.

**Can the work be tied to a metric?**

Yes. Teams that want that run a 90-day pod instead of an open subscription: one metric such as activation, trial-to-paid or adoption of an AI feature, a baseline, a plan of experiments, instrumentation, and a weekly review. Ask about it on the intro call.

**What happens when we hire our own designer?**

That is a good outcome and we plan for it. We hand over the Figma, the design system and the rituals, help you interview and onboard the hire, and stay available for a transition month if you want one.
