Overview

Alterscope is a Munich-based fintech company building risk infrastructure for Web3. Their platform processes and models risk in real-time across blockchain protocols and liquidity pools, serving both DeFi protocols and investment firms.

They came to us with a working alpha and a hard deadline: completely redesign the platform before presenting to hundreds of investors at Risk Summit Istanbul during Devconnect 2023.

The Challenge

The existing alpha had core functionality but lacked clarity. Users struggled to navigate complex risk data. The interface didn't communicate the trust and credibility that a fintech product handling risk decisions requires.

With three weeks until their investor presentation, they needed more than a visual refresh — they needed a complete UX/UI transformation that would make the product investor-ready.

UX Audit & Research

Our Design Lead focused on research synthesis and strategic direction. The primary designer drove ideation, wireframes, and core UX decisions. Supporting designers executed UI and built the design system simultaneously.

Secured Institutional Funding

‍After the successful launch, Alterscope raised funding from IOSG Ventures and Zee Prime Capital — two respected Web3 investors.

Major Protocol Integrations

‍The platform expanded to cover major DeFi protocols including Lido, EigenLayer, Ether.fi, Swell, Renzo, and others. They also formed strategic partnerships with Forta Foundation and Clip Finance.

Stellar Ecosystem Recognition

‍Alterscope's KYP Risk Dashboard project was recognized and funded by the Stellar Community Fund, leading to integrations with Phoenix DeFi Hub and Soroswap Finance.

Product Evolution

‍From the risk dashboard we designed, Alterscope evolved into a full AI-powered platform with autonomous risk agents, zero-knowledge proofs, and their own AI assistant called Elsa.
